I was born in Trondheim, Norway on the 1th of may 1979. I come from a large family and have 4 sister and 3 brothers and a very loving mother. Lived in Trondheim till i was 18, when i moved to Oslo the capital of Norway, wanting to study classical ballet. Dream cut short because of broken foot. Then went on to study art at Einar Granum School of fine art in Oslo 2000-2001. Have since worked on and of whit my art. Currently living in rural Norfolk UK whit my partner and dog.

I work with line and shape, and use colours that contrast and complement each other, to create movement.I also create movement by using multiple focal points, so the eye travels over the painting. My work can be very accidental, i have an idea, but it develops as i draw.I work with oil paint on primed board, the surface is smoother than canvas and im a bit obsessed with the illusion of my straight lines.
Sometimes the shapes i draw combine to make unintended shapes that jump out at me. Different people see different things in my work, and i like that. It makes it for me feel like its alive!
